In the enchanting Cinque Terre region of Italy the famed Via dell’Amore known as the "Path of Love" is making a triumphant return after more than a decade of closure.
This serpentine path renowned as "the most romantic walk in the world" winds through approximately 75 miles of captivating trails that connect the five picturesque villages of the Cinque Terre UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The path had been shuttered since 2012 due to a landslide but after extensive restoration efforts its first section has been reopened for a summer preview until September 30 with plans to fully reopen the entire trail in July 2024.
