A Walk Through the Alps

Mighty mountains and glaciers, crystal-clear lakes, rushing waterfalls and pristine valleys – the Bernese Oberland is the very epitome of Switzerland. Experience unforgettable excursions to Interlaken, Thun, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, the Aare Gorge or the Jungfraujoch.

From the Swiss capital of Bern, follow the River Aare to reach the city of Thun. This beautiful city with its castle is considered the gateway to the Bernese Oberland. Interlaken, situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, is another ideal starting point for your outdoor activities. Of course, a trip to the Jungfraujoch or the Schilthorn is a real must. Visit the Eiger village of Grindelwald and the Lauterbrunnen Valley with its waterfalls. Explore the Simmental valley with its chalet villages or the Kandertal valley with Lake Blausee and Lake Oeschinen. The top winter sports areas here are Adelboden/Lenk, Grindelwald/Wengen and Gstaad/Zweisimmen with Glacier 3000
